I'm Anthony Roberts and I launched ARKTYPE to support the kinds of businesses I’ve worked with, and learned from, for nearly two decades.
At Dayinsure, a leading temporary car insurance provider, I was Head of Marketing for 4 years. I led a full repositioning that added £30m+ in revenue and £10m+ in profit in that four year period. I scaled the marketing team, improved agency performance, relaunched the app into one of the UK’s fastest-growing insurance apps, and rolled out CDP-led personalisation using Bloomreach.
At Gradus, a global construction firm, I was Group Marketing Communication & Product Manager for 7 years. I unified fragmented communications across business units, repositioned the brand, led international product launches, and helped commercial teams connect more effectively with contractors, specifiers, and estate managers.
Before this, I worked in marketing across sectors including manufacturing, sportswear, and sports-fashion - bringing brand, campaign, and digital experience to both product-led and lifestyle-driven businesses.

Having helped build a running community (I co-founded a Parkrun) and having always been curious about people, I trained as a psychotherapist for 4 years. This has given me a solid foundation and confidence in how we might think and what drives each of us. And with this background in psychotherapy, I don’t just analyse funnels (customer journeys), I understand human behaviour, emotional drivers, and why people buy (or don’t). It also helps me spot what might be helping or hindering teams.
That insight shapes strategy, messaging, and channels that feel authentic and perform.
And I’m no clairvoyant. I use the data that actually matters.
